Questions

  • What happens in case of rain?

    Water World does not offer refunds or rain checks. If lightning is in the area, we will temporarily suspend pool and slide use until it is safe to reenter the water.

  • Are there changing rooms, showers, and lockers available?

    Our Bathhouse is equipped with showers and changing facilities. Lockers are available in our bathrooms. You can rent a locker for $6 per day, which includes a refundable $2 key deposit.

  • Do you rent inner tubes for the attractions?

    We provide tubes free of charge for The Great White slide and mats for the Triple Flume Slide. YOu may rent tubes for use at the Wave Pool rent for $3, which includes a refundable $1 deposit.

  • Can we bring our own rafts or tubes?

    You may bring floatation devices, only for use in the Tadpole Hole Childrens Area. Coast gurad-certified life jackets only in the wave pool.

  • What type of height restrictions do you have on each of your rides?

    • Rip Tide Wavepool - No height restriction ( non-swimmers and weak swimmers must be within an arm's length of an adult at all times)
    • Great White - 42” minimum height requirement
    • Tadpole Hole - Must be 48” or under ( non-swimmers and weak swimmers must be within an arm's length of an adult at all times)
    • Bonsai Pipeline Triple Flume - 42” minimum height requirement
  • Is there a charge for parking?

    Parking at Water World is FREE of charge.

  • What happens if I get separated from my party?

    To avoid becoming separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at a designated area before you begin your day. If your small child gets lost, please go to the Office (located next to the Surf Side Grill) or contact the nearest staff member.

  • What are the behavior rules?

    Foul language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. No alcohol, weapons, knives or firearms are allowed in the premises. No running, spitting, or throwing of objects permitted. No solicitation or distribution of literature on park property.

  • Do you have First Aid personnel?

    Water World is committed to ensure the safety of our guests. The park employs certified American Red Cross Lifeguards. First Aid is in the park office located next to the Surf Side Grill.

  • Can I re-enter the park once I leave?

    Get your hand stamped at the front gate as you leave if you wish to return to the park that day.

  • What type of Credit Cards do you accept?

    MasterCard and Visa are honored at the ticket booth, High Tide Gift Shop, and Surf’s Up Snack Shack. Locker and Tube Rental are cash only.

  • Do you have an ATM?

    Our ATM machine is located in the High Tide Gift Shop.

  • What is the smoking policy?

    Smoking is only allowed in the designated area located in the picnic area.

Food &

Beverages

  • Is food available for purchase at Water World?

    Water World has a variety of food and beverages available at the Surf Side Grill. We sell hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, fries, and other meal and snack items. The Sugar Shack sells ice cream and treats.

  • Can we bring our own food and drink into the park?

    Outside food and drink is allowed with the exception of glass bottles and alcoholic beverages. However we do not allow any food in the pool enclosures.

  • Do you have grills available?

    There are grills available in our picnic area that are on a first come basis. There are also two grills at each pavilion which may be reserved for groups of 50 or more.

  • May I bring a cooler into the park?

    Coolers may be brought in with the exception of glass bottles or alcoholic beverages. No food or drink is allowed inside of the pool enclosures. Water World reserves the right to inspect any items carried in or out of the Water Park.

What to Wear?

  • What is Water World's dress code?

    Appropriate swim attire required; no cut-off denim or jean shorts, provocative, thong or thong-like bathing suits, swim attire with rivets, buckles, belts or metal ornaments. Appropriate swim attire rules are strictly enforced and Water World park management reserves the right to determine inappropriate attire.

  • If I forgot my bathing suit, do you have suits for sale?

    The High Tide Gift Shop is well-stocked and has everything you may need to enjoy the fun and sun at Water World. We have a large selection of merchandise which includes men’s, women’s and children’s suits, t-shirts, tank-tops, and a variety of hats, sunglasses, shoes, beach towels, and sunscreen. If you’re short of cash, there is an ATM located inside the shop.

  • Do we have to bring our own towels?

    Yes, please bring your own towels. We have beach towels available for purchase in the Gift Shop.

  • Are life jackets provided for free?

    Yes, life jackets are FREE but must be returned before leaving the park. They are for small children and non-swimmers. You are welcome to bring your own Coast Guard-certified life jacket (including Puddle-Jumper style jackets).

  • Can I wear shoes in Water World?

    We do suggest you wear comfortable sandals or aqua shoes; however, shoes are not allowed on any of our slides.

  • Can my small child wear diapers?

    For safety of all guests, children in diapers must wear a swim diaper when in the water. We sell swim diapers in the High Tide Gift Shop.

WATER WORLD PARK RULES

  • No inflatables or styrofoam flotation devices – We only allow Coast Guard certified life jackets to be worn in our pools.
  • Swimsuits only in pools and on slides. T-shirts may be worn over suits.
  • No drugs, alcohol, or weapons are allowed in the premises.
  • You must be at least 42” to ride the slides.
  • You must be 48” or below to be in the Tadpole Hole.
  • All children still in diapers MUST wear water diapers in pools.
